Not quite as "red" as I was expecting, but a very pleasing earth color. I am currently using it in an image that I am working on for basing some seaweed and the result is appropriately textured and appealing, works beautifully with the Daniel Smith Amethyst genuine, and the Quinacridone Gold and Quinacridone Burnt Orange. A pleasing result.
