I bought a set of 3 compressed charcoal sticks, the medium, soft and ectra soft. They are light and comfortable in your hand. They can produce intense black marks and response reasonably well with changes in pressure. The only thing is it is a bit hard to differentiate the three as the markings are quite difficult to read and the difference in their strength are not that distinct when they are new.
