I used the ground to fix a mistake. The ground works ok on small spots that don't need painting but if you need to fix a large area I would not recommend as it absorbs the paint and I had light patches which no amount of paint seemed to stay put it just soaked in. I have yet to use it on a board or other base. But I am wondering if it will absorb the paint too much. Sorry I had hoped this would work as a quick fix for small mistakes.
