Daniel Smith Permanent Brown.... Well it wasn't what I was expecting.... Browns are usually dull and dusty clay based minerals. This one is a vibrant RED with a brownish tinge. Don't buy it if you want a dull sepia type colour. The tinting strength is very strong and you don't need to use much paint to get dark values, The mixes with other colours glow. And it doesn't look as if you've smeared a handful of dirt across your page.
