Soft white goat hair will pick up delicate colors and lay them down in a uniform, even fashion. Unlike other soft hair brushes, the Hake brush performs better due to the "actual" length of its hair. Hair is stitch-tied into the handle, holding it securely in the brush. Most importantly, the long hair can hold a huge volume of color for magical results. The handle is unlacquered to prevent chipping or cracking when soaking in water.

The brush arrived with strange yellow stains on the handle and an overpowering smell of mothballs. So I keep it in the backyard when not in use as the smell fills the room… Hopefully it will air out eventually
