Ampersand Aquabord is a premium archival painting panel designed to deliver the look and feel of watercolour paper on a durable, rigid surface. Coated with a specially formulated clay and gesso ground, Aquabord absorbs water beautifully while allowing colours to remain vibrant and luminous.
Ideal for watercolour, gouache, acrylic washes, ink, and mixed media, the surface supports lifting, glazing, masking, and repeated reworking without buckling or warping. The rigid hardboard construction makes it perfect for framing without glass when sealed with a suitable varnish.
