A new development has been the combination of squirrel and taklon for watercolour. Taklon for point and spring, squirrel for colour carrying capacity. This mix gives a superb brush for watercolour in particular at a much lower price than sable. 20% of the brush hair is made from blue squirrel. Squirrel retains lots of water and when combined with taklon it makes a perfectly affordable watercolour brush.
A wash brush, also called an oval or sky brush, has a flat ferrule with filbert-type rounded hair.

So glad I bought this brush am able to blend 2 colours with just one stroke
Emballage impeccable, arrivé en parfait état en France
These brushes are amazing The hold a lot of water and are so manageable for large brush strokes as well as fine ones
I have been wanting to purchase these 2 brushes for quite some time. I was given a Christmas gift card so decided to use the money for these brushes. I was very pleased with the service & promptness I received from Seniors & the brushes are just awesome. They are all that I was hoping for - hold a lot of water/pigment & keep the lovely sharp point!
Excellent for washes. Holds water well within itself and affords almost calibrated release upon pressure. Pointed tip is versatile for defining edges.
