I have purchased the 35 DA VINCI KOLINSKY SIZE 3 & 6.
After quality paper, this brush is my right hand. It has the perfect point and the control I would not have with any other brush. Perfect for botanical styles and details.

Not the finest point . But a reasonably good brush the size 1 keeps its point better.

I don't know if I ecieved a foul brush but I use my size 1 instead.

These water colour brushes are special for me and I enjoy using them. They purport to be Kolinsky sable and I enjoy using good quality natural fiber brushes. There is a good collection of graded hairs which are long and form a good tight point at the apex when wet. They hold the correct amount of pigment wash that I expect them too and they are capable of holding that pigment and delivering it to the paper I am working on. They are very capable brushes in handling detailed work on either smooth or heavily textured papers.
The triangular shaped handles are very comfortable in my fingers and do not fatigue my hand in grasping them in prolonged use.
These are very good quality natural hair sable brushes and are a joy to enhance your day of painting.
Cheers grt

These 35 da vinci kolinsky brushes are my favourite. I wouldn't use any other. I am flower painter and they are extremely good in fact perfect for detail and the larger sizes are perfect for the washes. A great buy worth every cent.

My new favourite brushes! Like driving a good quality car, these Da Vinci Maestro 35 are so good you don't notice you are using them, they just paint the picture for you. Good pigment holding capacity and really love the point as you find yourself carrying on with a large brush even when doing fine detail.

It and the other brushes ordered arrived in excellent condition. Excited with the fine point #1 I was very disappointed when the fine point on my brush started split apart on more detailed work. I know of others who use this brand and size brush so think it might be just this particular one the 6, 8, and 2/0 are fantastic.

I have been following a watercolourist on line and she strongly recommends the Da Vinci series 35 brushes. I am grateful for her advice. I have purchased a number of brushes in different sizes within this range and love them. They hold a lot of paint and retain their point...I am pleased to endorse them as welll????

Neat small brush for finer detail. Bristles are soft yet maintain a good point.

These da Vinci brushes are pure pleasure to work with. The difference between a pure sable brush and a synthetic brush is immense. The fine point gets into tiny spaces with ease and the fat body holds a lot of water and pigment and pressures out to a very large mark. I would never buy anything else.
