The Da Vinci Cosmotop-Mix B watercolour brushes are made of a mixture of the classical natural hairs in combination with synthetic fibres, which were developed in-house over years.

Easily identified by its patented blue lacquered "esagonal" handle. Esagonal handles prevent the brush from rolling away and ensure a secure grip and fatigue-free painting.

Cosmotop-Mix B brushes are especially popular in the bigger sizes due to their attractive price-performance ratio!

Free Australia-Wide Shipping

We offer free Australia-wide shipping on orders over $69.95.

Free shipping excludes bulky items and dangerous goods, which may incur additional shipping charges.

Bulky Items

Some large or oversized products require specialist or freight shipping and are excluded from our standard free-shipping offer. Examples include large easels, canvases and other oversized items.

If additional shipping charges apply, we will contact you after your order has been placed.

Dangerous Goods

Certain art materials are classified as dangerous goods and have restrictions on how they can be transported. Flammable products, such as turpentine and many solvents, cannot be transported by air and may therefore require road freight.

This can result in additional shipping charges or longer delivery times, particularly for orders being sent to remote areas or interstate locations.

If your order contains dangerous goods or bulky items, we will contact you if any additional shipping costs or delivery arrangements are required.

I purchased this brush to try out a mix of synthetic and hair given the descriptions suggest a mix is best of both worlds. The brush does not form a point when wet or dry. The hairs wisp outwards from the brush and I had to cut a couple off to stop bits of paint hanging on them at a sideways angle. I would not recommend this brush or the Cosmotop -Mix B series. I also bought a Size 6 and have had exactly the same trouble. Very disappointing.

Lovely brush to work with. Holds a good amount of paint and applies smoothly.
I'd like the point a little sharper as it tends to round out a little when loaded, but I like it enough to try some of the other sizes now.

I found the Da Vinci Cosmotop ok, but not as good as the Escoda Versátil, which has a more consistent ability to form a point and has less of the “rogue hairs” problem.
