The Neef Series 118 Master Artist Mop-type wash brush is made of pure black synthetic fibre that mimics squirrel hair and is perfect for watercolour.

This synthetic fibre is designed to imitate the elasticity, softness, absorption and quality of a natural hair brush.

Neef mop brushes have more body than conventional round brushes. This allows them to absorb large amounts of water and paint.

It is also a brush that stretches to a fine point when wet, thus allowing for the application of more precise details in large quantities.

Created in collaboration with Thomas W. Schaller.

The Neef brush from the 118 series is a superb and versatile tool for creating fantastic works using the watercolour technique.
