The black metal palette provides all the usual mixing space (two fold-out sections with white enamel) that you'd get with a standard travel tin. But the six mixing wells in the porcelain palette are above and beyond what other travel sets offer.
Twelve half pans are included. The nine classic colours are pure yellow, ruby red, perylene violet, helio cerulean, helio green, yellow ochre, burnt umber, perylene green, Payne's grey bluish. The three Supergranulating colours are shire blue, deep sea green, and tundra violet.
