The majority of oil painting is done with hoghair. Only the best quality Chungking bristles are selected and specially prepared to create bristles with greater spring. The filbert has a flat ferrule and rounded hair end. The flat side is used for wider strokes and the edge for more linear purposes. A versatile brush that gives a softer finish than the flats or brights.
