Emma T. Nice paper. Can handle some gouache, does wave a little but doesn't go through. Well made and look professional. The cover can be painted or drawn on with poscas. My favourite sketchbooks worth the extra $. Very economical for what you get. I use alot of these and I have even purchased some for my friends. Highly recommend.

Emma T. I love these sketch books, hard bound and quite nice paper. I even paint on mine with gouache it does wave a little but rarely goes through. The small landscape shape is so handy to carry around in my bag and the cover can be painted or decorated with poscas. Worth extra $. I go through a lot of sketch books and these are my preference, I always buy several, have them in different sizes and I even bought a couple for my friends. Highly recommend.

Yvonne F. I bought this to replace an identical but Jasart-branded sketchbook that's close to completion. It's a fabulous small (but not too small) sketchbook for use as an everyday carry sketchbook. I especially love the slightly-wider-than-square dimensions, which make for a very versatile book: the single page works for most compositions and if sketching on a full spread the width to height ratio isn't too extreme. The 150gsm paper is also very versatile: behaves well with inks but also has enough tooth to be good for graphite or pencil, and – while it's not a watercolour sketchbook by any stretch – it will even work quite well with aquarelle pencils and washes/light watercolour. It's well-bound and the cover is robust so it can be thrown in a bag. And, of course, it's most advantageously priced – excellent value.
