A reddish, slightly brownish semi-opaque orange, not much use for painting anything where a bright orange is needed, in that case use Cadmium orange, but superb for warming dark warm shadows. It's more like a much brighter version of a light burnt sienna. It gives a glow to what might otherwise be dull brownish-grey darks.
