"Inorganic – No. 208 is a variant of Ultramarine pigment. This colour is achieved by slightly altering the manufacture of blue shade Sodium Sulphosilicate by heating it with Chlorine. The result is a weaker, more violet pigment that has a relatively low tint power and a degree of transparency that lends itself well to glazes or thin body colour. In hues it becomes a high-keyed, rather fluffy textured mauve, which landscapists have found useful for the brighter tones of a clear sky and for the modelling of a sunlit cloud."

Free shipping excludes bulky items and dangerous goods, which may incur additional shipping charges.
Bulky Items
Some large or oversized products require specialist or freight shipping and are excluded from our standard free-shipping offer. Examples include large easels, canvases and other oversized items.
If additional shipping charges apply, we will contact you after your order has been placed.
Dangerous Goods
Certain art materials are classified as dangerous goods and have restrictions on how they can be transported. Flammable products, such as turpentine and many solvents, cannot be transported by air and may therefore require road freight.
This can result in additional shipping charges or longer delivery times, particularly for orders being sent to remote areas or interstate locations.
If your order contains dangerous goods or bulky items, we will contact you if any additional shipping costs or delivery arrangements are required.
