Love this primer! It was recommended to me by the staff in the West End store. I needed something that would retain the colour of my linen canvases but that the oil paint wouldn't sink in. I was finding with other acrylic gesso that my first layer of oil paint wouldn't sit on top as I'd like. This worked a treat. Dried clear and perfectly non absorbent without feeling plastic coated. When not using linen, I like to colour my canvases with a coloured gesso (helps with white fright) so I will be buying some coloured primer in this range too based on this experience.
