I purchased this brush to try out a mix of synthetic and hair given the descriptions suggest a mix is best of both worlds. The brush does not form a point when wet or dry. The hairs wisp outwards from the brush and I had to cut a couple off to stop bits of paint hanging on them at a sideways angle. I would not recommend this brush or the Cosmotop -Mix B series. I also bought a Size 2 and have had exactly the same trouble. Very disappointing.

Lovely brush to work with. Holds a good amount of paint and applies smoothly.
I'd like the point a little sharper as it tends to round out a little when loaded, but I like it enough to try some of the other sizes now.

I found the Da Vinci Cosmotop ok, but not as good as the Escoda Versátil, which has a more consistent ability to form a point and has less of the “rogue hairs” problem.
