Bulky Items

Some large or oversized products require specialist or freight shipping and are excluded from our standard free-shipping offer. Examples include large easels, canvases and other oversized items.

If additional shipping charges apply, we will contact you after your order has been placed.

Dangerous Goods

Certain art materials are classified as dangerous goods and have restrictions on how they can be transported. Flammable products, such as turpentine and many solvents, cannot be transported by air and may therefore require road freight.

This can result in additional shipping charges or longer delivery times, particularly for orders being sent to remote areas or interstate locations.

If your order contains dangerous goods or bulky items, we will contact you if any additional shipping costs or delivery arrangements are required.

The A6 Nostalgie sketchbook has been my preferred "everyday carry" sketchbook for a few years now. The beautifully smooth, white paper is an absolute delight for drawing with ink, and works well for graphite drawing, whether precise or expressive, as well as colour pencils, aquarelle crayons and so on. If you're the kind of sketcher who likes to write or take notes in your sketchbook, this is a good choice. At the same time, the 190gsm weight and however the paper has been sized means that it takes wet media surprisingly well. You won't be able to go all-out with traditional watercolour techniques, but for ink and wash, or adding watercolour to a sketch, it's excellent, and the colours are bright and flow well. Other pluses include a good, lay-flat binding and a robust cover that doesn't feel too "precious". In summary, the Nostalgie is a very versatile sketchbook that represents good value for money given its high quality, even more so when you can pick it up at sale prices. I recommend it a lot.

The Hahnemuhle sketch book is an excellent product. Having filled my first book, I purchased 2 more. I mostly do pen and wash and the paper takes the water well.

Not sure yet. No chance to use it yet but I would have preferred a spiral binding for ease of use.
