I had switched to Urban Sketching, wanting to paint quicker whilst painting en plein air. I needed a palette that would not rust as I live by the sea. It needed to have smooth edges and fit into the palm of my hand for comfort. I am absolutely delighted with this Art Toolkit Palette. The base has a magnet holding in the pans. Even the tiny pans are not to small for my travel paint brushes. They hold plenty of paint for several 31x23cms 12x9 " paintings on Saunders Waterford paper.

Wonderful travel palette for me to take overseas when I go visiting family. I love the fact that you can mix and match the pan sizes and vary the contents to suit with the extra pans sold separately

By far the best mini palette design out there. I saw these reviewed on YouTube and was delighted to find an Australian stockist! The palette is a sleek, brushed silver-coloured aluminium that is fingerprint proof. The lid doubles as a mixing palette and closes with a satisfying "snap".
You can also get mixing pans (that are magnetic) if you need to add more mixing space than the lid. This palette comes with a 2 x 4 size one! The mixing surface is silky smooth and your paints won't bead.
The pans themselves are magnetic and interlock perfectly in any number of configurations you choose.
At literally the size of a business card, this is just perfect for artists like myself that work small scale.
