Really great pocket size and I love the built in water bottle. Great value.

Love this little box. Would have liked another piece of mixing metal piece that folds out like the Whiskey Painters one.
Have bought some little magnets and using those to adhere another mixing piece.. fitted 14 half pans with the middle row only 4, but they do get in the way of attaching the little water lid part. Have been told i need to buy Daniel Smith half pans aa they are slightly smaller and fit better. All in all still rating 10 from 10.

Good sturdy box with a well thought out selection of colours. The yellow uses PY3 which is rated as ASTM II so I have replaced this with another yellow which is completely lightfast. The amount of water in the bottle is adequate for a small sketch. A DVD by David Howell shows a similar box in use.

The compact size is excellent and the water container was easily filled up with my puratap. However it doesn't fit the Windsor and newton 1/2 pans very well. I ended up gluing them in as the mental clip was restricting the pans from going in. Additionally the lid does not sit flat when open. All that aside I am able to get use out of it.

Nice solid box. Mixing trays stay level. The water bottle is a little hard to fill as the opening is so small, but it is a small reservoir, so it doesn't take too long anyway.

excellent little travel box, easily fits into pocket or small bag.
Holds up to 12 half pans of paint, more than you need for plein air painting.
I take an eggcup with me for the water and a cut down #2 brush with a good point.
It's all I need for a few hours in the country.
I recommend it.

I scoured the internet to find a better watercolour travel box than this one and came up empty It may seem a little expensive, but when compared to other offerings it turns out to be good value. It is about the of a cigarette packet and very sturdily built. My only reservation is that it may be too small to accommodate any brush (Lengthwise).

Perfect for having in your bag all the time. The waterreservoir is small but enough for short sketching. I´ve combined it with a small water brush.
