It’s a very good idea and I’m looking forward to seeing which I like to paint on.

Used the rough very pleased with results - Caran d arche watercolour pencils - watercolour paint, pens. When three colours applied over each other e.g yellow orange green rough depressions made exciting effect.

These watercolour papers are very good quality and good size. It is good to be able to try these papers at a very reasonable price.

I am late getting onto this review because I have been overseas. The Baohong Trial set was of outstanding quality. I like a rough surface. In comparison to what I have used in the past, this set is of superior quality. I won’t be going back to that former paper.

So far only used the smooth textured paper but already very impressed. It can take wet washes making it very good for wet in wet applications. Also very easy to blend colors.

I've only used the cold press so far, but I really enjoyed it . The paper didn't buckle and it has a nice semi-rough tooth. Seems to be quite similar to Arches. Would definitely use again.

Previously, have bought the packets of 10 Rough Baohung sheets and this was a great opportunity to try the other type of surfaces in the these papers, which will be of great benefit in deciding for future purchases.
