Lovely paper, good for watercolour and charcoal drawing

by Janet T.

The paper arrived very carefully packaged between light boards wrapped in plastic so there was no risk of damage. I have been trying the paper for graphite work and watercolour. The paper allows gentle washes of watercolour and gives the artist time to move the pigment around the paper. The paper remains flat and doesn't buckle when damp. I did not stretch the paper because my style of painting uses only tiny amounts of wetted paper at one time. Give the paper time to dry and then repeat for multi layered washes, this worked well. You are able to lift paint off the paper with either a damp brush or paper towel. The lifting does not damage the paper surface. Also removing graphite from the paper is successful using different types of erasers and the paper retains its surface. I haven't tried masking fluid on this. I was pleased to have purchased this product and would do so again.
