Description
David Curtis takes his oil paints to the lovely island of Mallorca, where he selects a range of different subjects. These include wonderfully ramshackle buildings on Deia beach, a view looking across to Valdemossa,a sunlit garden with building and a beach scene. Returning to his studio, he works up a studio painting of an old town centre, using as a guide a watercolour he painted in Mallorca.
David Curtis is a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Society of Marine Artists and winner of the Singer Friedlander/ Sunday times watercolour competition. He exhibits at all the major societies and has regular one man exhibitions.
