THis DVD is a valuable resource for budding watercolourists. I wish I had got on to it a few years ago when I began the formidable challenge which is watercolour. Having attended a David Taylor workshop, I thought that the talents of one of Australia's best exponents of the art would translate nicely to the DVD medium and so it proved. The techniques section at the start leads to five different demonstrations in and around Melbourne in which those techniques are used. This product is proving to be very useful in developing my skills in such matters as simplifying subjects, brushwork and establishing a range of tonal values. When you see the demonstrations framed at the end of the DVD, you can't help but be inspired.
