Taking care of your brushes

Squirrel hair brushes have an extraordinarily high storage capacity and impress with a particularly even colour release when painting. However, squirrel hair brushes are also velvety soft and sensitive.

To assure longevity in your brushes, carefully wash brushes of all traces of paint and pigment at the end of every painting session. Due to the particularly fine natural hairs, Russian squirrel can break easily if the pigment is not washed out, especially at the height of the ferrules.
