??A synthetic Iron Oxide in a beautifully rich shade, with very dense warm undertone. A good modeling pigment, which works well into yellow and red highlights. It also makes excellent Caucasian flesh tones when mixed with cadmium red or vermilion and any white.
Its strange for me as a colour maker, sometimes I become very proud of my exotic historic colour such as vermilion however I cannot be more proud of this rich earth colour, as I state above its a must for portraitists but also such a versatile colour for all.
