One of the oldest established organic Lakes, Arylide Yellow; this is a warmer version of Bright Yellow Lake with similar properties.
Deceptively transparent but with strong tint power it runs through mixes with a milder and more golden range of undertones.

Can’t go wrong with Michael Harding oils, I’m just going through this colour it’s such a delish rich yellow.

I have long used cadmium yellow on my palette however I am now moving to Michael Harding's Yellow Lake. It works far better in plein air landscape painting and is significantly cheaper. For my taste the cadmium was leaning too far to a deep yellow with orange/red attributes. I also find MH's Lemon yellow greatly useful in plein air painting. Michael Ashby, artist.

This is a beautiful, clear yellow in a really luscious base - I had never tried these paints before, but am very impressed.
