This fire engine red is cleaner than Cadmium or Permanent Red. It is a modern synthetic-organic pigment. I used this colour in a recent workshop and found it most satisfactory. It was rich in colour and had a creamy texture. I used this colour to bring light into the piece. Highly recommend this product for all watercolur artists.
