These Ampersand cradle boards are perfect for "a painting a day". With this currant lockdown in NSW, I paint daily from photos from my morning walk. The surface of the boards is very smooth, which appeals to me, as I dislike the texture of canvas, especially when working small. These boards are convenient, easy to store and use outdoors. Framing is not necessary which saves time and money with addition of hooks etc. I think the quality of my work improves when using these boards, as I endeavour to come up to the concept of "museum standard". They take my work to a higher level.
