This is an extremely versatile brush for everything from washes, to fine lines. Good loading quality and spring in the hairs, and good balance in the handle. I have been recommending it to my students for forever. The #12 is also a must have in any painters collection. My personal preference over Kazan, also by Neef.

I am a student, so not expert on brushes. But after buying cheaper brushes, I can definately say I love this brush. It holds more paint, and the shape allows for so many shapes, thin and thick lines, It's the only brush I use now

This brush was recommended to me by an art tutor as being the only brush required for pen and wash in watercolor. It is a great brush and will achieve good work. There are several brushes in this Range "Neef" in various sizes. I previously used Size 12 with success, and also have others. I would recommend this product to other artists or leisure painters like myself. This particular brush Size 8 was good value for money spent.
