Saunders Waterford Series Saunders Waterford Series is the finest watercolor paper and is unique in that it is the only paper which carries the Royal Watercolour Society's seal of approval. The Waterford series is a 100% rag mould-made paper, acid free and buffered against atmospheric contamination giving archival permanence. The natural white sheet contains no optical brighteners,thus having excellent colour stability. It has found great favour with water colour artists for its surface strength.

I loooove this paper. My first taste of a 600gsm and it is a dream. It is very forgiving for a smooth paper. It has a slight texture to it that is just divine. I do find I can’t get as sharp lines on it on the initial washes. But it doesn’t worry me and working with the paper. I also love the customer service at senior art. Since I began my watercolour journey I have been a loyal customer and they are always fantastic. Fast and efficient.
