DANIEL SMITH Lavender is a beautiful periwinkle blue, and quite different from our other blues. This semi-transparent lavender blue has beautiful granulation and lifts easily. In addition to being an excellent floral colour, our Lavender suggests certain shades of faded denim.

The new kid on the block, this hue is the most delightful shade of blue mauve, a true lavender of Provence colour, this transparent pigment adds soft summery cast shadows, and layers beautifully to create gorgeous Monet-esque cloud shapes.

Although this is a more opaque colour it is simply beautiful to add a unique interest to a subject. Shadows are particularly enhanced with this colour, it's richness and vibrancy make for an interesting result
