Whilst this is meant to be a companion DVD to the book of the same name, there is little in common, but a youthful John Hammond takes you through a number of on-site creations with a clarity and ease that has clearly stayed with him for many years when I compare with his later Video. An absolutely fabulous learning tool for me as an absolute beginner who is trying to emulate John's impressionist style with his excellent DVDs in one hand and the book in the other.
John shows it as it is, without long winded discourse on reasoning. A plain and simple approach that is very watchable, time and time again. Highly recommended viewing.
