heads up, this item has 16 metal placeholders for half pans. If you want to use full pans the brush slot in the middle holds 4, plus space for an extra half pan. it's 14.5 X 7 cm approximately and has little feet on the bottom to help stabilize it on surfaces. they appear to be uneven and may click clack when you load your brushes or mix on it so bear that in mind. nothing that can't be overcome with a cloth underneath or by holding it with the finger loop underneath. otherwise it's what you'd expect from DS, heavyweight and sturdy.
