498 Da Vinci Casaneo

Fantastic brush, good wash brush with a fine point. Holds a lot of water and paint. Glides over the paler smoothly. The while casaneo range is A+ tier.

I purchased 7 different da Vinci brushes to try. This is my favourite.: holds its point, a great mop, easy to move the brush across the paper for smaller washes and is a good detail brush as well.

Excellent quality and holds a sharp point and a lot of water.

This brush allows the artist to control the application of pigment from fine line work to full stroke and up to dry brush techniques. It holds a lot of pigment for those of us who prefer a rough surface paper. I found the Da Vinci series of Casaneo brushes to be fantastic for artists wishing to use classic watercolour brushes.

This brush glides over the paper so easy and is so soft with a lovely point . Although it is a synthetic brush it feels great to work with.
