I purchased 7 different da Vinci brushes to try. This is my favourite.: holds its point, a great mop, easy to move the brush across the paper for smaller washes and is a good detail brush as well.

This brush allows the artist to control the application of pigment from fine line work to full stroke and up to dry brush techniques. It holds a lot of pigment for those of us who prefer a rough surface paper. I found the Da Vinci series of Casaneo brushes to be fantastic for artists wishing to use classic watercolour brushes.

This french quill holds its shape well.
It's large belly carries huge amounts of water and pigment.
It's delicate tip is perfect for details and hard edges.
A wonderful all rounder ????
