Fluorescent, transparent, and right at the extreme edges of the color wheel — these are the limited-edition Neon Half Pans from Schmincke. Use them like any other watercolor, and keep an eye on their special properties: a unique set of glazing effects on dark paper, a luminous glow under blacklight, and a distinct kind of brightness in daylight that can't be achieved with regular pigments.

This special set, a limited edition for 2025, features five Akademie Aquarell half pans: Neon Blue, Neon Green, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange, and Neon Pink. Three empty half pans are included, so you can add your favorite colors to the cute travel tin.

Please note that fluorescent pigments are fugitive; they fade over time and should not be used for commissioned work or long-term display. To preserve fluorescent artwork, store it in a drawer where UV light cannot reach it.
