I love Daniel Smith Watercolour paints. They are beautiful to work with. Their pigments are wonderful. Hematite is one of my go to earth colours. I love its bold granulation qualities. Beautiful for painting rocks and animals. Beautiful colour.

I just love this paint. It granulates so beautifully on the Fabriano Artistico Rough 300gsm. The darks fall into the little valleys in the paper and the lighter yellow tone is like an aura.

Just love the granulation and have found it great for landscapes especially for doing rocks on the beach. I have a feeling of being like a magician every time I use it....just add water and watch the action! The variation of colour is vast depending on the amount of dilution with water......like have 4-5 different tubes of watercolour.
