NAM Retouch Varnish Spray is a semi-permanent, clear protective varnish designed for use on oil and acrylic paintings during the painting process. It is particularly useful for reviving dull or “sunken” areas of paint and providing an even surface sheen before a final varnish is applied.
Formulated for flexibility and ease of reworking, it allows artists to continue painting over treated areas without interfering with drying times. The fine aerosol spray gives a smooth, even application, helping to unify matt and gloss variations in the surface while offering temporary protection from dirt and handling.
Ideal for use on touch-dry paintings, NAM Retouch Varnish Spray is especially valued in studio practice where paintings are still being developed.
