Each Sofft Sponge Bar has a unique shape and size, designed specifically for artists and crafters. Shapes are based on artist's brush shapes to allow a wide range of mark making. Different effects can be achieved with each sponge, for example, by using the sides and edges.
Made with our unique semi-absorbent micropore sponge material. The sponge holds and releases just the right amount of color. Non-abrasive for a smooth, uniform result.

Not what I was expecting. This product came up as an alternative to a search for a 'natural sea sponge', so I puchased it hoping it would perform similarly but it doesn't. Lesson learned. Maybe it spreads acrylics and oils but it doesn't lift watercolours. Hard to rate as I probably didn't use it in the way intended. Perhaps the product description needs to be fuller.
