This boiled, polymerized linseed oil enhances the flow of oil paints and allows brushstrokes to be removed.
An elastic medium, it also enhances gloss and lengthens drying time. It can be thinned using turpentine and white spirit and is suitable for the practice of the glacis technique.
Stand Oil is less susceptible to yellowing than traditional linseed oil.
