This is the perfect tripod for plain air painting boxes. It is really well made and very sturdy for painting and much better than the tripod I originally had, hence I bought this. I’ll also use it for my camera now I have it. It packs up very compactly and is light to carry. You can adjust it to range of heights and adjust the legs for uneven ground. I have a U.Go plain air box and it is such a pleasure to work on with this matching tripod. The best set up anyone could wish for.
