Hi, a sturdy, metal empty foldout watercolour box. I wish the description originally said something like that. I had sent a message asking what the box was made from. But never had a return so i took a punt going from the price that it was metal, not plastic. And it is made in Italy. The box takes 16 little half pans which slot in. great!Review date 19.08.2017
